William Hogget 1814

Baptised Manfield Cliffe RC Church, NRY on the 13 February 1814 (IGI) son of George Hogget and Elizabeth Short.

 Married Martha Muncaster at Manfield 16 May 1837 (IGI). Confirmed by Parish Registers. Abode listed as Gainford. Witnesses were Jonas Sayer, William Muncaster, Ann Hoggett, Margaret Hoggett.

William and Martha  had at least 8 children:-

The 1881 census shows William, aged 67, as a servant to  corn miller, Samuel James Stonehouse, at 17 Four Riggs, Darlington.

William Hoggett, aged 69 died in Darlington in the March quarter of 1884.
