24 August 2008 Thomas Wallace Thomas Wallace, (my 4 x Great Grandfather) was born c1813, the eldest son of Ralph Wallace and Margaret Alderson. He married Isabella Ramshaw. Parish Registers show Thomas, bachelor, farmer, of full age, living Houghton Le Spring, father Ralph Wallace, farmer, married Isabella Ramshaw, spinster, of full age, of the Parish of St Nicholas, Newcastle Upon Tyne, father John Ramshaw, joiner, were married at the Parish Church of St Nicholas, Newcastle Upon Tyne on the 29th of October 1838, by licence. Witnesses were Jacob Ramshaw and John Alderson Wallace. Thomas and Isabella had at least 2 children -
