Thomas Hoggett 1790

Thomas was born in 1790, the son of John Hogget and Elizabeth Wright. He was baptised 27 December 1790, godfather William Wright, godmother Joanna Hoggett.*

The IGI shows Thomas marrying Mary James Bland on the 16th of November 1825 at Stanwick St John. 

They had at least 10 children:-

bulletJohn Hogget.  Baptised at Manfield Cliffe Catholoic Church on the 30th March 1826, the son of Thomas Hogget and Mary Bland. (IGI). John died on May 16, 1849.
bulletWilliam Hogget. Baptised at Manfield Cliffe Roman Catholic Church on the 26th of January 1830, the son of Thomas Hogget and Mary Bland. (IGI)
bulletAnn Hoggett. Baptised at Manfield Cliffe Roman Catholic Church on 8th December 1831, the daughter of Thomas Hoggett and Mary Bland. (IGI)
bulletThomas Hogget. Baptised at Manfield Cliffe Roman Catholic Church on the 31st October 1833, the son of Thomas Hoggett and Mary Bland. (IGI) Thomas died on June 16, 1835. National Burial Index shows the burial of Thomas Hoggett, aged 1, at All Saints Church, Manfield, Yorkshire, on the 18th of June 1835.Confirmed in Parish Registers.

bulletThomas Hoggett c1847. Married Esther. In 1891 was living in Barton, Yorkshire and listed as a 44 year old retired farmer.

Thomas died on  August 9, 1854, Mary on January 4, 1862.

Manfield Monumental Inscriptions show :
Erected by Thomas and Mary Hoggett in memory of Thomas d 16 June 1835 aged 1 year, Elizabeth d 28 November 1844 aged 16, John d 16 May 1849 aged 23 also Thomas d 9 August 1854 aged 63 and Mary d 4 January 1862 aged 60.
