Teresa Isabel Hoggett

Twin with Monica May, born on the 29th of May 1888 at Carmel House Lodge Nunnery, Darlington, where their father, Edmund, was employed as a gardener. 

On the 1891 census Teresa was listed as Isabella T Hoggett and was living with her family at Carmel Lodge, Darlington.

When her elder sister, Lily, died Teresa looked after her two children Millie and Mattie and later married their father, her former brother in law , Jack Stapleton. 

They had a stillborn child. 

Teresa was Godmother to her Great Nephew, David Barras in 1941.

Teresa was buried in the same plot in the churchyard at Darlington's West Cemetery as her husband Jack and her sister, Lily, Jack's first wife, although no inscription was added to the gravestone regarding Teresa.
