buried at Darlington's West Cemetery on the 17th - on unconsecrated land,
plot B TT 153. Monumental Inscription states-
In/Memory/of/STEPHEN WALLIS/of Darlington/who died June 1st 1871/Aged 56
years/Also of JAMES LUKE GREENWOOD/of Darlington/who died April 5th 1878/Aged 42
years/Also of ANN, wife of the above/STEPHEN WALLIS/who died November 15th
1886/Aged 69 years/Also of Jane, wife of the above/JAMES LUKE GREENWOOD/who died
August 6th 1916/Aged 79 years/Also of ANNIE BUCKLE/Daughter of the above/who
died October 26th 1884/Aged 30 years
