Mary Snowden was my 5 times Great Grandmother.

PR's for Wycliffe Catholic Church show the Baptism of Mary Snowden the daughter of William and Ann Snowden. Sponsors George Bilton and Mary Moor, the Aunt, absent March 15 1778 five days old.

Mary married John Eales at Barnard Castle on the 1st of November 1802. Witnesses were William Eales and John Firbank.

Thomas Eales - Lartington R C PR's show - 16 July 1814 was born at Barnard Castle baptised on 18th July 1814 Thomas son of Mary Eales. Sponsors were Thos. Snowdon and William Snowdon.

William Eales - Lartington R C P R's show - 29 June 1819 was born at Barnard Castle and on the 5th of July was baptised William son of Robert Eales and Mary his wife (formerly Snowdon). Sponsors were Antony Bowron and Elizabeth Cheesebrough.

Barnard Castle burials show - 28 March 1834 Mary Eales 56 of B Castle and 4 Oct 1837 Robert Eales 60 of B Castle -butcher.
