Lartington RC PR's show - March 30th 1824 was born at Lartington and on the 31st was baptised, Matthew son of John Hoggit and Elizabeth his wife (formerly Hoggit) Sponsors were Thomas Hoggit and Ann Hoggit.

Married Ann Purvis on 16th October 1851 at Lartington R C Chapel. Witnesses John Hoggett and Jane.
