Jane
Ann Wallis
Christened at St Cuthberts Darlington on the 28th of June 1835, daughter of
Thomas Wallis and Elizabeth Grieves.
In 1851 was living with her parents, sister Sarah and brother James at 69
Bondgate, Darlington and employed as a loomweaver.
Jane Ann Wallis daughter of Thomas ( a butcher) of Archer Street of full age, a spinster married on the 25th December 1852 at Holy Trinity Church Darlington to Joseph Kearton , a moulder of Commercial Street. Witnesses John Kearton and Sarah Wallis (her mark).
Son James born c1860.
Jane Ann was widowed in
October 1864.
She was living at John
Street, Darlington, with her parents and was with her mother when she died on
the 8th of May 1868.
Jane Ann married William
Powell, in Darlington in the March quarter of 1869.
In 1876 was living at 19 John Street, Darlington and was present at the
death of her father, Thomas.
