	Margaret Ibbotson - Baptised at West Tanfield , Yks on the 12th September 1819, Margaret, daughter of George and Mary Ibbotson, weaver of Thornbro'. Buried at West Tanfield on the 8 December 1824 ( same day as brother George was baptised) aged 5 years.
	Jane Ibitson Christened on 7 Oct 1821 at West Tanfield, Yks (IGI). PR's show - 7 October 1821 Jane, daughter of George and Mary Ibbotson, weaver of Thornbro'. St Cuthberts, Darlington, Durham PR's show :- 7 July 1841 marriage of Jane Ibitson - a minor - spinster of Park Street- father George,  a labourer- married William Wheitly? of full age - bachelor- woolcomber of Park Street- father Richard, labourer. Witnesses were Richard Wilson? and Mary Ibitson. St Cuthberts shows the burial of a William Wheatley Ibitson , an infant, buried on 7th July 1841. I think he was the illegitimate son of Jane Ibitson and William Wheatley.

Margaret Ibitson ( my 3 x Great Grandmother) was born c 1830.  Baptised at West Tanfield, Yorkshire on the 27th of June 1830, the daughter of George, a weaver, and Mary, of Thornboro.  She married Thomas Boddy on the 21st of July 1849 at Darlington's Parish Church. They had at least 8 children - see Boddy family pages. In 1891 the census entry shows:- 6 Temperance Place, Darlington Margaret Boddy head married ( husband Thomas in Union workhouse, ill) Margaret Boddy daughter unmarried 27? Sarah A Boddy grandaughter 13 cotton spinner Cornelius G Boddy grandson 7

William Ibbotson - baptised at West Tanfield, Yks on the 9th of February 1834, son of George and Mary, weaver of Thornbro'. William Ibitson, aged 5, was buried at St Cuthbert's Church, Darlington on the 19th of August 1838.

SCHI = death of George Ibitson in Darlington in the September quarter of 1847. Death certificate shows George Ibitson, weaver, aged 71 years, died at Church Street, Darlington as the result of Palsy, no medical attendant. George Ibitson (son?) also of Church Street was in attendance.
