George Hogget

Baptised 2 August 1784 the son of John Hogget and Elizabeth Wright.

 Married Elizabeth Short by Banns on the 28th May 1807 (IGI). Confirmed in Parish Registers. Abode listed as Tentry? Witnesses were William Wright and Edmund Hoggit.

bulletJane baptised at Manfield Cliffe RC Church 8 April 1808 (IGI). National Burial Index shows the burial of Jane Hoggett, aged 25, at All Saints Church, Manfield, Yorkshire, on the 29th of July 1833. Confirmed by Parish Registers.
bulletJohn baptised at Manfield Cliffe R C Church 15 Aug 1809 (IGI). In 1871 was an inmate at Darlington's Workhouse, listed as a 63 year old widower, gardener, born Manfield, Yorks. The 1881 census for Darlington Workhouse shows John as a 75 year old widower, gardener, born Manfield, Yorks.

The Durham Marriage Index shows a George Hogget, widower, gardener of Manfield marrying Emma Stobart on the 15th of November 1832, at Barnard Castle.
