In 1841 was living with his family at Lartington. In his father's
will he was left 24 acres at Fountains Head, along with his brother Matthew .The
1851 census shows him as 31, unmarried and living with his family at Cragg,
Lartington. 1861 and 1871 census shows John, still unmarried, farmer of 140
acres and 181 acres respectively, at Cragg Farm, Lartington. |
