John Brown married Margaret Kipling in
1781.*Parish Registers for Gilling, Yks show - The Banns of marriage between John Brown and Margaret Kipling were published on the 4th, the 11th + 18th Days of February 1781 by me John Vasey- Curate. The said John Brown of the Parish of West Witton, dry waller, a bachelor, and the said Margaret Kipling, of this parish, spinster. Married in this Church, by Banns, this nineteenth day of February in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty one by me John Vasey, Curate.
Their
