| In loving memory |
| Florence Vessing McMillian |
| dob November 12, 1912 |
| God saw you getting weary, He did what He thought best; He put His arms around you and said "Come and rest." He opened up His golden gates on that heartbreaking day, and with His arms around you, you gently slipped away. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; a part of us went with you the day God called you home. |

For He shall give His angels
charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall
bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot
against a stone.

May , 2007 granddaughter and the hospice social worker used cunning trickery to have my mother placed in a nursing home against my mothers wishes. Seven days later she was dead.
|
|
Granddaughter and her friend, a self proclaimed "ghost whisperer", made my mothers last days on this earth
a living Hell!
|
|
My mother was afraid of her care givers. My mother requested I stay with her , but I became concerned for my own safety. She was terrified of the rituals performed by the "ghost whisperer" and granddaughter to "help" my mother "cross over" some of which I personaly witnessed. I had to get permission to visit with my mother.
|
| Locks were changed on the house that my mother and I helped buy . Neighbors were instructed to call granddaughter to notify her of when I visited my mother. I was threatened and attempts to intimidate me were made by a male companion of granddaughter. My mother was repeatedly threatened with being sent to a nursing home. One such threat was made before my mothers discharge from the hospital. This resulted in my mother experiencing a heart attack which resulted in her hospitalization being extended. Family heirlooms that was legally mine and the children of my deceased brother were removed and placed under lock and key then moved to another location. An attempt was made to place my mother on medicaid, claiming my mother had no money. But at the time she had cash in the bank accounts exceeding the permitted amount to qualify for medicaid. Or at least she was supposed to have cash in the bank. If this course of action had been pursued the bank accounts would have to be verified and any withdrawals would have to be accounted for.
My mother wanted to die in peace, with dignity and in her own home.
|
|
There was no Will and my mothers estate did not go to probate. Instead granddaughter, not having any legal authority to do so distributed my mothers estate, closed banks accounts without going to probate. Going to probate would mean that all monies and the estate would have to be accounted for.
