ALLERTON, Sarah ¹⁶⁶⁷

  Noted events in her life were:

• History: Plymouth Colony. ¹⁶⁶⁷ ALLERTON, SARAH - A sister of Isaac Allerton, Sarah Allerton married (1) John Vincent, (2) Mayflower passenger Degory Priest, and (3) Cuthbert Cuthbertson. She did not sail to Plymouth with Priest, but remained in Holland where, after hearing of the death of Priest, she married Cuthbertson, and accompanied him to Plymouth in 1623 on the Anne, along with her son Samuel Cuthbertson and her two daughters by Degory Priest, Mary Priest and Sarah Priest. Both she and her husband, Cuthbert Cuthbertson, died before 24 October 1633, when their inventories were taken (MD 1:154).

Sarah married John VINCENT.

Sarah next married Degory PRIEST on 4 Nov 1611 in Leiden, Holland.¹⁶⁶⁶ (Degory PRIEST was born about 1569 in England ¹⁶⁶⁶ and died on 1 Jan 1621 in Plymouth Colony ^1666,1667.)

Sarah next married Cuthbert CUTHBERTSON. (Cuthbert CUTHBERTSON died before 24 Oct 1633 in Plymouth Colony ^1667,1668.)
