  Noted events in her life were:

• History: Plymouth Colony. ¹⁶⁵² BREWSTER, MARY - The wife of Elder William Brewster, Mary arrived on the 1620 Mayflower. Walter Burgess, John Robinson, The Pastor of the Pilgrims (1920), p. 80, advanced the view that she was the daughter of Thomas Wentworth. This was supported by John G. Hunt, "New Light on the Brewsters of Scrooby and New England," TAG 41:1, and has been tenaciously clung to by numerous Brewster descendants, who would like to claim a Wentworth royal line. However, the evidence for such an identification is too scant to serve for a judgment, and Hunt himself abandoned the Wentworth claim when he wrote more recently in Of Mary Brewster, three parts (privately published, 1984, 1985) that Elder Brewster's wife was a Mary Wyrral; but again the evidence is not adequate. A review by E. A. Stratton published in the Spring 1985 issue of the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research Magazine argues that the parentage of Mary Brewster is still unproven (see also Dr. Bangs in MQ 51:165-66, fn 1). Mary died at Plymouth 17 April 1627 (Brewster Book - See under Jonathan Brewster).

Mary married Elder William BREWSTER, son of John William BREWSTER and Unknown. (Elder William BREWSTER was born in 1559-1567 in England ¹⁶⁵¹ and died in Apr 1643-1644 ¹⁶⁵¹.)
