Elizabeth HarrisonElizabeth Harrison (1881-?) married Maize Warren circa 1904. While the 1910 census indicates that this was Elizabeth's first marriage, it may have been Maize's second. The majority of Harrison/Harris and Warren family members were buried in the Warren Cemetary. Thanks to the Louisiana Cemetary Tombstone transciption project, some of the tombstones in the Warren Cemetary were transcribed. However, due to thick brush and overgrowth, many of the graves were unreachable, especially Harris/Harrison graves. Fortunately, the transcribers were able to record a tombstone enscribed 'M. M. Warren, March 15, 1855 to April 16, 1944.' I believe this is the grave of Maize Warren. Supporting documentation for the dates of birth and death were obtained from Warren Cemetary Records (especially for the Warren Family members). Thanks to the dedicated volunteers of the LA Tombstone Project for their invaluable work.
