This site is dedicated to HSMcK, who searched out our Irish roots.
"I find these people fascinating and admire them greatly for their courage and perseverance to
overcome great physical and financial difficulties. I can't imagine any of us, their descendants,
having to strive against such odds, and feel grateful that I have been blessed with such an easy
life and been spared so many of the tragedies they had to face. I feel that they should be a real
inspiration to their descendants." (Dec 13, 1980 letter from HSMcK to her second cousin Clare
Sullivan)
"When through one woman a little more love and goodness, a little more light and truth come into the world, then that woman's life has had meaning." (Author Unknown)

Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
The sunshine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his Hand,
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May the Lord cause his face to shine upon
you and give you peace.
This one's for you, Mom! Happy Birthday and Rest in Peace. MMH 8/1/97
