Dear Cousin:
In honor of our Makemie ancestors, you are cordially invited to the very first Makemie and Allied Families Reunion! Because we are scattered across the country, we feel the reunion should be held over a weekend and in a cosmopolitan area. We have selected the weekend of June 10-12, 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Attached is a questionnaire that can also serve as your registration. Please complete the questionnaire and return it, with your registration fee (see fee schedule) to one of your reunion committee members. These prices are tentative and subject to change (with notice) as we are still in the planning stages of this wonderful event. We will update interested parties periodically of our progress. If you know of anyone who may be interested in attending, please pass on this information. We DO need a tentative head count for planning purposes as soon as possible!!

AS PART OF THE ONE NAME STUDY OF ALL MCKEMIEs, MCKAMEYs, MCKEMYs, MCCAMYs, THERE WILL BE FAMILY TREE CHARTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS AND MORE ON DISPLAY DURING THE REUNION.
We will also have at least one laptop, with which we can review, discuss and expound on the records held by the ONS as well as the "All-In-One" tree.
If you have family tree information or photographs or family memorabilia
that would be of interest to others, please bring copies. I have some of your family trees in the One Name Study, but if you have not sent me any info on your ancestors, it would be appreciated if you would do so before the reunion. I would prefer that you send copies in advance so that they can be set up with your family tree chart and related information on the first day of the event, which is Friday June 10th, 2005.

| Refunds will be given at 90% of fees paid prior to March 10, 2005. After that date, only 50% can be refunded.

IMPORTANT: The last day registrations will be accepted is
Wednesday, May 4, 2005.
However, please do not wait until the last minute to register. In order to have this event run smoothly, it is important that we have an accurate guest list as early as possible. If you have any questions, please contact one of your Reunion Committee members.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday, June 10th: Catered Hospitality Night in the tradition of a Scottish Ceilidh. Check in at the hotel, meet and mingle and socialize with other reunion guests. The Family Trees will be up on display. Bring along an instrument, if you can play--or even if you can't! Rehearse your favorite stories and jokes--you'll have a whole new audience!
Saturday, June 11th:
"Family Sessions" including presentations on the different Makemie lines led by individuals/spokespersons for those lines, roundtable discussions on topics such as our origins, discussions on our ancestors that served in the armed forces, as well as many other topics still being decided.
