ALVIN R. LOGUE Alvin R. Logue, 63, of McKees Rocks, a former McKees Rocks firefighter, died of a heart attack Monday at his home. Mr. Logue served six years on the McKees Rocks Planning Commission, 10 years as a state constable and 20 years as a McKees Rocks Democratic committeeman. He attended schools in McKees Rocks and retired in 1976 after 18 years as a firefighter for the McKees Rocks Fire Department. He served in the Navy during World War II and in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Logue was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 418 and American Legion Post 618, both in McKees Rocks. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine TAYLOR Logue; one son, Thomas of McKees Rocks; five daughters, Linda MADONNA of Marshall, Barbara DIECKS of Ross, and Maribeth TAYLOR, Karen Logue and Kimberly BOSETTI, all of McKees Rocks; one sister, June HUFNAGEL of McKees Rocks; and 12 grandchildren. | LUDZIK | GEORGE LUDZIK George Ludzik, 80, formerly of South Hill Road, McKean, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. Born in McKees Rocks, Pa., on April 6, 1917, he was the son of the late Michael and Julianna SPONTAK Ludzik. He was a dairy farmer in McKean until he retired. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Greek Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna NESZPAUL and Elizabeth FERRICK. Survivors include a sister, Mary KEAST of Campbell, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to the Requiem of Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Church, 1115 East Ave., Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Very Rev. Msgr. Ronald A. Hazuda officiating.
