Griffiths Valuations McGing

NOTE: Due to use of tables, some browsers may have trouble with this page. I developed it so it looked good on my machine and my daughters (2 different size monintors, different resolutions, different browsers) but can't begin to claim it looks right in all browsers.

GRIFFITH'S PRIMARY VALUATION OF RATEABLE PROPERTY FOR COUNTY MAYO. Edited by Richard Griffith, and originally published 1855 to 1857. Ten Volumes, totaling 1308 pages. Similar to a Head of Household Census in that it lists most of the householders in the county, Griffith's is really much more. It also lists all of the property in the county, including buildings, land and other features. It gives the value of these properties, and the name of the occupant, as well as the immediate lessor (the person the occupant leases the property from).

There are 9 McGings listed in Griffiths. There are also 15 McGinns listed. For whatever reason, if I put these on one web page, there are problems. So this is the McGing page. The first McGinn page is located here.
