Pictured in this 1898 photo are Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Stringfellow and wife Mittie (Byrd) Stringfellow. The daughters areRuth, age 3, and Versa, about age 1. Ben Stringfellow was a resident of Calhoun County, AR. and was the son of Robert Baxter Stringfellow. This Stringfellow line is descended from William Stringfellow who was an older brother to the Mastin Stringfellow who was the husband of Martha Jane (McCarty) Stringfellow [1807-1870].
