GROUP 2 McCAIN GENEALOGY

The Families and Associated Families of James McCain, Thomas McCain, William McCain, William McKean, John McKean, Alexander McCaine, and James McCann, the heads of the Group 2 McCain Lines, were Irish. The families were thought to be living around Cavan, Dublin, and Londonderry before migrating to the United States.

5/13/09 - Updated DNA Test Results Page. Added ancestor names, YOBs, and Place of Death to some of the Testee's ancestor data.
5/13/09 - Added "Big Picture" Page under McCain DNA Compare Analysis. This is the beginning of what all of the Compares are about. If I can get prople to cooperate we may some day get a "Big Picture" of all Group 2 McCain Family Lines, that is, when and how we are related. I wll be putting out a post on the McCain List in a few days covering our DNA and Web Site progress. I think that we are making great progress but that may be an inflated personal opinion.
5/16/09 - Completed updating all DNA Testees and Researchers Pages with the family line data now being in tables. Task completed and all Pages uploaded online.
5/17/09 - Update Family Line data on Individual DNA Test Page for Daniel Ross McCain.
5/18/09 - Updated and renamed DNA Interesting Statistics to Actual Years Per Generation. Added 3 more Testees for a total of 7 now. Very minor change in the Average Years Per Geneation by the addition of the 3 new Testees.
5/18/09 - Remove 3 "dead links" from the Links Sections of the Home Page.
5/18/09 - Add link to the GENERAL GENEALOGY RELATED Links Section of the Home Page for "Contents" of the Censuses for various Census years. Very important and interesting information, especially if you research a lot using Census data.
5/22/09 - Added Researchers/Descendants Page for our new member Joe Beasley. Joe is in the James McCain line and descends from James' son James Gale McCain. Welcome Joe!!!!
5/23/09 - Added a DNA Statistics Page to the DNA Test Results Page.
