Wesley Capps served in the Confederate Army from Sept 9, 1861 to August 1864, when he died of a gunshot wound to the thigh. He was a Private in Company H of the 27th Regiment Georgia Infantry. 

All of the following confederate documents were provided by Charles Crowell, fourth great grandson of Wesley Capps.
