(The above is the way it was transcribed
in a book at the NARA center. After I got a copy of the actual census
records, I found several differences from the above transcription. First
of all, it was the 576 Militia District, BEAR CREEK Post Office.
George is listed as Bankston George (no W.), though it does look like Bunn
underneath it. It looks like the U in Bunn was closed up, and then
the "kston" was squeezed in to fit before the first name. There are no
initials listed after any of the first names, except for Mary J..
Where did the transcriber get the N. after Thomas, the W. after George,
the W. after James, and the E. after Charity? George was listed twice in
a row, but the ages are different, as well as the sex. The second one must
have been in error, and should have been Susan Louvenia Bunn. The first
George was at the bottom of page 89, and the second one was at the top
of page 90.)
