| MEETING NEWS: |
| Don't forget our meetings are held the first Tuesday in every month at 7 p.m., at the Ozark Regional Library in Ironton. The next meeting will be held on Oct 3rd. |
| Ten people attended the August 1st Meeting. New Mmebers attending were Virgie & Glen Miller of Mills Springs, MO. Donna Pinkley was a guest at the meeting. St Louis Gen. Society (SLGS) became an exchange member. aT this writing we have 23 members and 4 exchange members. We spoke about a Beginning Genealogy Class. We talked of attending a seminar at Springfield, MO on Sept 29th & 30th. Margie Campbell has a great site now for our new society (your here)! |

| EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING: |
| The Executive board meeting was held Aug 29, at 7 pm at Jeanette's home. There was a decision to go ahead with the transcription of the 1910 Iron county census. All interested in helping, please contact Jeanette. |
| Wilma presented several ideas for programs that will be a part of our monthly meetings. Vicki Fleeman will introduce us to the art of "Scrapbooking". |
| Over the next few months, we hope to have an authority onCivil War data do a presentation and it is in the making for Jeanette McClure to do a presentation on "Brick Walls". |
