First Generation

1.   Bartlett Bartholomew ZACHARY was born 1832 in Arkansas.
He was the son of John Baley Zachary and Nancy Tidwell.
Bartlett married Sarella HILL, daughter of Jesse A. HILL and Jane
G. JENKINS, on 15 Aug 1873 in Bonham, Fannin County, Texas. 
Sarella was born 11 Feb 1852 in Missouri. She died 30 Nov 1943 in 
Granbury, Hood County, Texas and was buried in Fall Creek Cemetary, 
Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
They had the following children:
          2    M    i.   Will ZACHARY was born 1874 in Texas.
          3    F    ii.  Mary Anne ZACHARY was born 4 Feb 1877 in
Stephenville, Hood County, Texas. She died 17 May 1972 and was
buried May 1972 in Granbury, Hood county, Texas.
Mary married Henry W. HENSLEE on 5 Jul 1896 in Hood County, Texas.
Henry died in Nursing home, Granbury, Hood, Texas and was buried in
Granbury City Cemetary, Granbury, Hood, Texas.
          4    F    iii. Laura ZACHARY was born 17 Apr 1879 in
Granbury, Hood, Texas.
Laura married Matt MAY on 1897 in Hood County, Texas.
          5    F    iv.  Margaret (Maggie) Elizabeth ZACHARY was
born 31 Dec 1881 in Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
     +    6    F    v.   JoAnna ZACHARY was born 29 Dec 1884 and
died 8 Feb 1971.
          7    F    vi.  Manda Josephine ZACHARY was born 29 Dec
1884 in Granbury, Hood County, Texas. She died 1986 in Stockton, San
Joaquin County, California.
     +    8    M    vii. Jess Grant ZACHARY was born 18 Jun 1887
and died 14 Mar 1958.

Second Generation

6.   JoAnna ZACHARY (Bartlett Bartholomew) was born 29 Dec 1884
in Granbury, Hood County, Texas. She died 8 Feb 1971 in Granbury, Hood 
County, Texas.
JoAnna married James B. "Jim" THOMPSON on 5 Jul 1903 in Granbury,
Hood County, Texas. The marriage ended in divorce. 
James was born 8 Oct 1883 in Hood County, Texas. He died 17 Mar 1971 
in Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
They had the following children:
          9    M    i.   Oren Lee THOMPSON was born 16 Nov 1906.
          10   M    ii.  Eldridge D. "Skeet" THOMPSON was born 19 Jan 1907.
          11   F    iii. Trella Edith THOMPSON was born 1909.

8.   Jess Grant ZACHARY (Bartlett Bartholomew) was born 18 Jun 1887 
in Granbury, Hood County, Texas. He died 14 Mar 1958 in Antioch,
Contra Costa County, California and was buried 18 Mar 1958 in Union 
Cemetary, Brentwood, Contra Costa County, California.
Jess married Lorus(Lois) DUNN, daughter of George E. DUNN and
Mary M. SNODGRASS, on 3 Jan 1914 in Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
Lorus(Lois) was born 2 Apr 1895 in Stephenville, Erath County, Texas. 
She died 11 Mar 1977 in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California and 
was buried 14 Mar 1977 in Union Cemetary, Brentwood, Contra Costa
County, California
They had the following children:
          16   F    i.   Inez Bernice ZACHARY was born 19 Nov 1914 in 
Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
Inez married (1) Lester MAYER on 13 Apr 1950 in Reno, Washoe County, 
Nevada.
Lester died in Veterans Home, Palo Alto County, California.
Inez also married (2) Joe STAPLES on 10 Jan 1934. The marriage
ended in divorce.
          17   F    ii.  Laura May ZACHARY was born 16 Nov 1916
in Binger, Caddo, OK. She died 8 Sep 1919 in Binger, Caddo 
County, Oklahoma.

and died 26 Jan 1997.
     +    19   M    iv.  Roy Leon ZACHARY was born 31 Jul 1926.
          20   F    v.   Betty Izeta ZACHARY was born 18 Jun 1928
in Binger, Caddo, Ok. She died 18 Jun 1928 in Binger, Caddo

18.  Troy Grant ZACHARY (Jess Grant, Bartlett Bartholomew) was
born 16 Sep 1922 in Binger, Caddo, OK. He died 26 Jan 1997 in
Stockton, San Joaquin County, California and was buried 29 Jan 1997 
in Union Cemetery, Brentwood, Contra Costa County, California.
Troy married (1) Lela May FORD on 17 Dec 1955 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
They had the following children:

19.  Roy Leon ZACHARY (Jess Grant, Bartlett Bartholomew) was born
31 Jul 1926 in Binger, Caddo County, Oklahoma.
Roy married Peggie Joe EVANS, daughter of Jessie James EVANS and
Brazzie Clay REAMS, on 24 Nov 1947 in Stockton, San Joaquin County, 
California.
Peggie was born 16 Feb 1930 in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.
They had the following children:

Helen married (1) James Theodore MOORE in Antioch, Contra Costa
County, California. James was born 7 Mar 1933 in Antioch, Contra 
Costa County, California. He died 12 May 1979 in Stockton, San 
Joaquin County, California and was buried May 1979 in Union 
Cemetary, Brentwood, Contra Costa County, California.
They had the following children:

Oklahoma. He died 6 Jul 1996 in Vallejo, Solano County, California 
and was buried 9 Jul 1996 in Vacaville, Solano County, California.
Forrest married (1) Ruth MAYS on 27 Oct 1954.
They had the following children:

1957.
     +    36   M    ii.  Mark Roy ZACHARY was born 30 Oct 1959.

1S.  Sarella HILL
12/19/98:  Death certificate received with basic information I
already had.  The informant for this information on the
certificate was J.M. Thompson.  This would be her daughter Joanna
Thompson, sister of Grandpa Jess Grant Zachary.  She was buried
in the Fall Creek Cemetary in Grandbury. She died of a heart
block and old age as stated on her certificate. js
