First Generation

1.   Jesse A. HILL was born about 1815 in Tennessee. 
He died after 15 Jul 1870 in Missouri or, Texas. 
Jesse was the son of John and Mary (Cosby) Hill of 
Rhea County, Tennessee and Cedar County, Missouri.
Jesse married Jane G. JENKINS, daughter of Mr. JENKINS, on 7 Jul
1842 in Rhea County, Tennessee. Jane was born about 1822 in
Tennessee. She died after 15 Jul 1870 in Missouri.
They had the following children:
          2    M    i.   Jesse G. HILL was born about 1845 in
Tennessee. He died before 1860 in Dade County, Missouri.
          3    F    ii.  Mary Jane HILL was born 26 Nov 1846 in
Dade County, Missouri. She died 13 May 1937 in Hood County, Texas
and was buried in Fall Creek Cemetery, Hood County, Texas.
Mary married (1) Meredith HAYWARD, son of Edmond/Edward HAYWARD
and Mary Caroline SMITH, on 9 May 1867 in Morgan Township, Dade
County, Missouri. The marriage ended in divorce. Meredith was
born about 1847 in Missouri.
Mary also married (2) John W GILLIAM after 1872. John was born 24
Jul 1830 in Missouri. He died 26 Apr 1918 in Texas and was buried
in Fall Creek Cemetery, Hood County, Texas.
          4    F    iii. Sarah HILL was born about 1847 in Dade
County, Missouri. She died before 1860.
          5    F    iv.  Ann J. HILL was born about 1849 in Dade
County, Missouri.
Ann married William C. TACKETT on 4 Jul 1867 in Dade County,
Missouri.
          6    F    v.   Melissa A. HILL was born 25 Dec 1850 in
Dade County, Missouri. She died 5 Feb 1939 in Brown County, Texas
and was buried in Heflin Cemetery, FM1467E, Brown County, Texas.
Melissa married A. G. PATTERSON on 6 Dec 1883 in Brown County,
Texas. A. G. PATTERSON was born Dec 1828. He died 13 May 1885 in
Brown County, Texas and was buried in Heflin Cemetery, FM1467E,
Brown County, Texas.
          7    F    vi.  Sarello HILL was born about 1852 in Dade
County, Missouri. She died 30 Nov 1943 in Granbury, Hood County,
Texas.
Sarello married Bartlett Bartholomew ZACHARY on 2 Aug 1873 in
Fannin County, Texas. Bartlett was born 1832 in Arkansas.
          8    F    vii. Margaret "Maggie" HILL was born 9 Jan
1854 in Dade County, Missouri. She died 9 Feb 1928 in Blanket,
Brown County, Texas and was buried in Blanket Cemetery, Brown
County, Texas.
Margaret married Zachary Taylor BLANTON, Rev., son of Josiah
BLANTON and Lucy WESTBROOK, on 3 Sep 1874 in Fannin County,
Texas. Zachary was born 22 Mar 1849 in Mountain Creek, Rutherford
Count, North Carolina. He died 14 Jan 1943 in Blanket, Brown
County, Texas and was buried in Blanket Cemetery, Brown County,
Texas.
          9    F    viii.     Joanah K. HILL was born about 1857
in Dade County, Missouri.
Joanah married Mr. CARPENTER.
          10   F    ix.  Minerva HILL was born about 1866 in Dade
County, Missouri.
Minerva married Matthew Y. "Eli" MATHIS about 1882. Matthew was
born about 1855 in Alabama.
