1850: I find no Stones in the on-line Lawrence Co., IN, census. I wonder if they moved o n right after their marriage.
1860: Oxford, Worth, MO, next door to Harvey and Amanda McBride. Also living with them wa s Isabelle McBride, prob. dau of Harvey & Amanda.
1870: Nebraska Twp., Page Co., Iowa.
1880: Union, Worth Co., MO. Here their surname is spelled STON. William is a 51-yr-ol d merchant, born IN, father born VA, mother in KY. With him is his wife Celstin (sic), ag e 52, born IN, father born SC, mother in KY. Also, 3 children, John M., Melli (sic), and Amm a (sic) Yates (widowed), with probably her daug, even though it says "niece". Harvey & Aman da McBride were in Nodaway, Holt, MO.
Got some info from the Gentry and Worth Cos., MO, History, pp.762-3, pub'd 1882.1 William Stone was also known as William L. Stone. He was born on 25 November 1829 at Greene, IN. He married Celestine Mayfield, daughter of Reuben Mayfield and Charlotte Boone, on 13 September 1849 at Lawrence, IN. William Stone married Celestine Mayfield, daughter of Reuben Mayfield and Charlotte Boone, on 13 September 1849 at Clay Centre. William Stone died on 13 February 1903 at Clay Center, Clay County, NB, at age 73. He was Record Change on 9 December 2002.

!MARRIAGE: Same source: she married Alexander Campbell Mayfield, 12 Jan 1854, in Lawrence County, , Indiana.
Her 2nd marriage was to Dr. J.H. McKee of New Whatcom, according to the Marriage License, which I have, dated 5 Aug 1891. There is almost no information on him and this relationship, and one would almost doubt that they ever actually married, however, I have seen a couple of items where she is named as Winnie McKee. Do not know when or where Dr. McKee died, or where he is buried.
