George Holloway was listed as head of family in Bourbon County in both 1820 and 1830 Census Wrote his will Oct 18th 1836 It was recorded 5 December 1836 after his death.

Will of George Holloway Will Book K page 334-335 : In the name of God Amen I George Holloway of the County of Bourbon and commonwealth of KY being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory (for which I thank god) and calling to mind the inventory of human life and being desirous to dispose of all said worldly estate as it hath pleased god to help me with I give and bequeath the same in manner and form following, that is to say,

1st I desire that all the perishable part of my estate be immediately sold after my decease and out of the money arising therefrom all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

2nd, After my just debts and funeral expenses be paid I give my beloved wife Mary Holloway one third part of my estate both real and personal for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease I give the same to my own youngest children herein after named to be divided among them and to be enjoyed by them forever, that is to say, one fourth part to my son Edmond, one fourth part to my daughter Margaret Elizabeth , one fourth part to Sarah Emily and one fourth part to my son Robert Thomas.

3rd, I give to my daughter Mary Katherine five dollars; I give to my son George Gray five dollars; I give to my son William five dollars, I give to my daughter Mariah Seaton five dollars and to my daughter Martha Rankin five dollars.

4th, The balance of my estate both real and personal except my servant man Billy I give to my four youngest children, that is to say, one fourth to my son Edmund, one fourth part to my daughter Margaret Elizabeth, one fourth part to my son Rob. Thomas.

5, It is my will and deisire that my servant man Billy be free after serving my wife one year. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary Holloway executor of this my last will and testament. In Witness wherof I have hereunto at my hand and affixed my seal this 18th day of October in the (year) of our lord 1836.

Witness Thomas P. Smith Clerk aforesaid Court this date above.

He was born between 1767 and 1772 at Virginia. He was the son of William Holloway. Col. George Holloway was born on 26 September 1784 at Crooked Run, Culpepper County, Virginia.7,1 He married an unknown person circa 1800; Henderson County, KY. He married an unknown person circa 1800 at Henderson, Henderson County, KY.7,1 He married an unknown person on 7 November 1807; Paris, Bourbon County, KY.7,1 He married an unknown person on 7 November 1807 at Bourbon County, KY.8 He appeared on the census of 1810 at Henderson Ky. He was Property in 1820 at Tax Roll, Bourbon County, KY. He left a will on 18 October 1836 at Recorded December 5, 1836. He died before 5 December 1836 at Bourbon County, KY.1 He was Record Change on 24 April 2004.1
