I am a direct descendant of Robert Adams, father of George Washington Adams. G.W. Adams and his wife, Nancy Morrow, had seven children: America Adams (3/15/1819-6/9/1892), Elizabeth "Betsy" Adams (no date), Margaret "Peggy" Adams (12/24/1816-4/13/1891), Sarah Adams (no dates), Caroline Adams (1827-1870), Franklin Adams (no date), and Adam "Add" Adams (1832-?). Adam "Add" Adams went on to have 9 children with his wife, Emaline Howell. One of his sons , Andrew Jackson Adams, had 12 children with his wife Nancy Ann Shadoan. One of those children was Henry Chester Adams (01/1899-7/2/1929), who is my great grandfather. He married Anna Lee Baugh and their first child was my grandmother, Lois Maude Adams. This info comes from Allene Adams Fetter, who compiled a large portion of the family history in August of 1985. I would be glad to send you copies of the information I have to help fill in what you have on the Adams Family to date.
