William Dennis January married Fannie Caywood, daughter of William Penn Caywood and Elizabeth Wilson, on 24 December 1911 at Chamberlain Store, Delaware County, Oklahoma; at Chamberlain Store by Felix Chamberlain, J.P., along with two other couples:
Henry Gadberry and Stella Sims; John Fairres and Stella Burbage
Witnesses: Henry Murphy, Charley Howerton.1
William Dennis January Bill and Fanny bought 70 acres of land from Albert Caywood, Fanny's Brother. This was his allotment and included the land where a lot of the town of Colcord is now. Some of the older children were born in a log cabin behind where the Dairy Queen is now . Bill dug the well that is on Main St. by the Dairy Queen. Bill and Fanny sold this 70 acres to Ray Mitchell who sold it to Claude Smith who sold it to Charley Burbage who started the town of Colcord.

Bill and Fanny then moved to 100 acres 4 miles west and 3/4 miles south which was Fanny's mother's allotment. He died in 1963.
