Mrs. Tilda P. Keathley, 81, of 940 Faulkner St., died yesterday (April 4, 1963), at Memorial Hospital of a heart attack. Mrs. Keathley lived only a few hours after arriving at the hospital. She was born March 19, 1882, at Mount Vernon, a daughter of George Spencer and Susan Elizabeth Adkisson Bell. She had lived in Conway 12 years. She was the widow of C. W. Keathley. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Winter of Conway, Mrs. Loyce McDonald of Naylor, Mrs. Bessie Davis of North Little Rock, and Mrs. Jerry Stephens of OK City, Okla; a son, Hershel Keathley of Little Rock; two brothers, George H. Bell of Rosebud and Barn Bell of Conway, 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Mount Vernon Baptist Church by the Rev. William West and the Rev. Jack Dell. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Otis, Euel and Arthur Bell, Cletus, Leo and Lester Keathley and Joe DuPree.
She was born on 19 March 1882. She was the daughter of George Spencer Bell and Elizabeth Susan Adkisson. Matilda Parlee Bell married Cozy William Keathley on 7 October 1899. As of 7 October 1899,her married name was Mrs. Keathley. Matilda Parlee Bell died on 4 April 1963 at Faulkner County, Arkansas, at age 81.

Barney E. Bell, 94, 2111 Washington Ave., died Tuesday (April 14, 1981) at Conway Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bell was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He was born June 16, 1886, in Cleburne County, a son of Spence and Elizabeth Adkinson Bell. He was the husband of the late Oma Keathley Bell. Survivors are two sons, Euel Bell of Conway and Elton Bell of Colorado Springs, Colo; a daughter, Mrs. Mona Bell Bartley of Conway; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McNutt Chapel. Burial will be in Heffington Cemetery at Enola. Pallbearers will be Lewis Winter, Brad Bradley, Leo Keathley, Oscar and Smith Bell and Bobby Rex King. He was born on 16 June 1886 at Cleburne County, Arkansas. He was the son of George Spencer Bell and Elizabeth Susan Adkisson. Barney Elbert Bell married Oma E. Keathley on 10 January 1909. Barney Elbert Bell died on 14 April 1981 at Faulkner County, Arkansas, at age 94.

Mrs. Bell was born at Mount Vernon Nov. 28, 1886, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Keathley. Her marriage to Barney E. Bell, who survives, occurred Jan. 10, 1909. She was a lifelong resident of AR and a member of the Church of Christ. Also surviving are two sons, Euel Bell of Conway and Sgt. Maj. B. E. Bell of the armed forces in Germany; a daughter, Mrs. Mona Bartley of Conway; a brother, J. E. Keathley of Conway; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie King of Conway and Mrs. Bessie Holeman of Conway, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral was held Friday at McNutt Chapel by the Rev. Cozy Williams Keathley 63-Year-Old Beryl Resident, Succumbs. Cozy William Keathley, 63, farmer, died at his home in the Beryl community, 12 miles east of Conway, at 7 a.m. today after an illness of one month. Death was attributed to heart disease. Mr. Keathley was born in TN November 22, 1879, and was married October 7, 1899, to the former Miss Matilda Bell, who survives. He was a Baptist. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Laura Winters of Conway, Mrs. Bessie Davis of California, Mrs. Virgie McDonald and Mrs. Clo Graddy of Vilonia and Mrs. Aline Stevens of OK, and three sons, Otis Keathley of Conway, George Keathley of OK and Hershel Keathley of Vilonia. The body is held at Doolin's funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Cozy William Keathley, who died at his home in the Beryl community Tuesday, will be held at the Beryl Baptist church Thursday at 2:30 p.m., it was announced by the Doolin funeral home today. A burial service will follow at the Mt. Vernon cemetery at 4 p.m. He married Matilda Parlee Bell, daughter of George Spencer Bell and Elizabeth Susan Adkisson, on 7 October 1899.
