The source of this brief photo and history is: "ANCESTORS AND DECENDANTS OF MARTIN McCLAIN, Sr. 1750 - 1990"; Luckett, Evelyn Liles; (note by Mary Bob: I do not know where Evelyn got the date 1750 (which is one of the dates the John McLean family came to America from Scotland.) Martin was born in 1833 and died 1916. The above Mt Joy School writing is in this book on page 24.
