COOPER, Flavel Fleming, 1868 - 1905. "Son of Duncan B. & Florence Fleming Cooper." (b. Mulberry Hill, Maury Co., Tenn; d. Nashville, Davidson Co., Tenn.; was clerk in the U.S. Patent office in Washington, D.C.; came back to Nashville and worked on his father's newspaper, THE AMERICAN. In obit dated 1905 - "Flavel F. Cooper, Thrown from his horse while riding along Church St. Tuesday afternoon died in a local infirmary Thursday......"
