DOOLEY CEMETERY, COLUMBIA, MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE



DOOLEY, Gilbert W., d. 16 Aug 1859, in 25th yr. of age. (the eighth child born to William and Jane Rutledge Dooley.)
Inscription reads: "Sacred to the memory of Gilbert W Dooley who departed this life The 16th of August 1859 in his 25th year While living he was highly esteemed by all" The above is the inscribed broken top of a box tomb. The top slab is now completely on the ground in danger of sinking into the earth and being lost.
