AMIS, Josiah D., 10 Apr 1819 - 4 Apr 1852. Aged 32 years 11 months & 21 Days.) "Youngest son of John & Mary Amis."
Inscribed as: "SACRED To the memory of Josiah D. Amis the youngest son of John & Mary Amis born April 10 1819 departed this life April 4th, 1852 Aged 32 years, 11 months & 21 days."
Dates do not calculate here. based on the dates given. Probably should be 32 Years 11 Months and 24 Days. maybe with one day error in the day. This suggest the date of April 4 1852 s/b April 1, 1852 as fours and ones are often confused in translating the old inscriptions.
