Nettie Brown Hight was known to have taught at Beechland School. Last night among my records I found an old music book and on the cover is written “Nettie Brown Hight, Beechland 1940. She was a highly educated person so I’m sure she was teaching more than music. Bill Thrasher, 7 Jul 2008
