FLANIKIN, Mrs Robert (Mary "Polly" Reasonover), born 1800 - died 30 Apr 1844. She is not dead but sleeping.
Wife of Robert Flanakin/Flenniken/Flanigan. Her husband is buried in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka, Maury, Tennessee. She was the daughter of John Reasonover and Francis "Fannie" Benson from North Carolina; both of her parents died before 4 June 1816 when the executor of the returned an account of the sale of the estate of John Reasonhover - (Gil TN, Co Ct Min. C/28) Early Benson was appointed guardian for Jordan Reasonover, Jeremiah Reasonover, Jacob Reasonover, Benson Reasonover, Hetty Bell Reasonover, Early Reasonover, Jacob Reasonover, and Elizabeth Reasonover, minor orphans of John Reasonover. However, Polly Reasonover had Jesse Lamb appointed her guardian in Giles County, Tennessee. [Jesse Lamb was husband of Sarah "Polly" Benson, sister of Fannie Benson.]
