The Toad - a rare sighting - hunkered down almost invisible on the shoulder of the Lucinda Rowell memorial. This is a rare sighting of a Tree Toad, much less common than other frogs. This is the only one I have seen in my life time. He climbs like a tree frog and has the color of a ground toad, but is much smaller. Shall I name him the Rock Toad for the way he blends into the background of a rock? - One of those do not disturb moments in photography - CWA. 7 Oct 2010)  5594C,5594

Site linkage & typing were done by Faye Bradford and Mary Bob McClain Richardson, both of Birmingham Alabama whose acquaintance is only known over the internet, but both of these ladies have Maury County Tennessee heritage.  Added to this site 19 Oct 2011 by C.
