William D. Aymett, aged 73 years died at the home of John Coggins here Sunday night after a long period of illness. Mr. Aymett, who was 73 years old, was a teacher for many years and was regarded as one of the most erudite men in the county. He spoke several languages and was well versed in Greek, Latin and Sanscrit. Professor Aymett was a brother of the late City Marshall Felix Aymett and of the late Henry Aymett, both of Pulaski. His only sister, Mrs. Lou Aymett McCormack, lived in Waxahatchie, Texas. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the residence and burial was in the Aymett family graveyard.
