Converted 1810, Licensed to preach & Joined the Tenn Conference 1822, of which he was a member 48 yrs., & In his 5th yr. in the N. Alabama Conference March 17. 1875, died triumphantly. Soldier of Christ well done! Praise be thy new employ; And while eternal ages run. Rest In thy Saviour's Joy. Footstone: "An Israelite in-deed."
