I found the attached postcard in my Mother’s
(Jessie Grimmett) personal belongings after
she died. My mother was married to Walter
Clinton Blankenship who was the son of Octavia
Blankenship. Octavia was the Daughter of
Solomon and Eliza (Vance) Blankenship. Octavia Blankenship b. 1892 d. 11/14/1958 Logan, WV Walter Clinton Blankenship b.9/23/1918 Davy, WV d. 10/9/1991 Lynchburg Va. |

On the front top margin it says; “ I will
write more next time tell On the front bottom margin it continues; Mary I will write to her soon” Written on the back is; “Hello Mary how are you all by now. This leavs all well. Hope you all the same. Martha is getting along fine. She is sitting up in bed. The children said they wished you and Willie wood stay with them. Ardie said you was with Mary and she wood go and let you go. Harley said tell Willie he hadent had nary nother hug at all.
