| My Father Willie Sloan wrote this letter
to his mother Pittie Blankenship Sloan,while
serving in WWII she kept it in an old razor case of my grandfather Dock Sloan for all those years .Upon her death it was given to me ,Willie's oldest daughter.I had it framed ,it remains one of my most cherished possessions. Willie hand carved the heart out of a piece of metal picked up in the battle field |
