| It all started with a message put on the
Ancestry.com Fourm.. Oct 27,2001 I am looking for information about my father, Perry Allen Andrew Fleshman, married Betty Jane Henry in 1951.They lived in York Springs, PA. They had 2 girls, Darlene Elaine and Constance Patricia. ... Darlene seeing this, responded and found a half sister .Linda's mother was Janet Hosler ,she worked in the shoe factory in Dillsburg ,Pa.where she and Perry meant. Linda and Darlene's,birth dates are 4 months apart.Perry was married to Betty Henry at the time . At the divorce of Perry Fleshman and Betty Henry ,the family lost contact with the two young girls Darlene and Connie Fleshman, years passed ,lives were lived, children were born .then in October of 2002 Linda Jastron knowing all her life that Perry Fleshman was her father ,and had even meant him while starting her first job working in the same Dillsburg shoe factory where Perry stilled worked .Linda stated she knew she had half brothers and sisters and decided that at this time in her life, wanted to meet them and hopefully developed some kind of relationship if possible . After Darlene responded to the posting on Ancestry.Com from Linda the two begin e-mailing each other, this went on for months until one day when Darlene and her husband Doug were appearing in a Wild West Show,She had surprise visitors ,Linda deciding that this was the perfect opportunity to finally get to meet Darlene .From that meeting and far from either's expectations have remained friends and indeed sisters.. Then they decided to take another big step ,they set out to find the rest of the Fleshman family ,that meeting took place in July 27,2002 with some of their Aunts,Uncles ,Cousins and a Brother from Perry Fleshman's second marriage .There are a lot more family members to meet and get to know ..What fun we all will have ... |
