My Old Kentucky Home
Expect to find on this page a changing potpourri of text, graphics, and links that are not limited to genealogy and family history.
This picture was taken a few years ago. This cabin was my first official residence for about two months in 1947. It was located on the family farm 1.7 miles southeast of the village of Pleasant Home, which is north of Gratz [on the Kentucky River] in Owen County Kentucky. It's good to remember from whence we came.
This was an 18 pound, 32 inch flat-head catfish that I caught near Warsaw Kentucky in 2007.
These are photos of Aaron and the 30 pound snapping turtle he caught while fishing in a farm pond in 2008.
We volunteered at the Fort Logan "Dig"
I finally made it to the Willard Library in Evansville, Indiana
