In Loving Memory of Mary Ellen "Granny" Caston, we love and miss you. You will live in our hearts forever.

Mary Ellen Caston, 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home - Iuka. She was a loving mother and homemaker who was a member of the Burnsville Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed playing scrabble, reading, and was a master seamstress. She loved to do things for other people, and was known for her generosity. Visitation is scheduled for 5 – 8 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Cutshall Funeral Home – Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Rich, Bro. Roy Craft, and Bro. Ronnie Phillips. Interment will follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Baines, Jacob Cole, Johnathan Cole, David Daniels, Jamie Miller, and Stephen Williams. Honorary Bearers will be Josh Caston, Scott Caston, Shaun Cole, Joe Marlar, Wade Marlar, and Tommy Rutledge. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 4 sons – Rockne Caston of Iuka, MS; Timothy Caston (Kathy) of Okachobee, FL; Stanley Caston of Okachobee, FL; and Kenneth Caston (Linda) of Iuka, MS; 4 daughters – Judy Marlar (Wade) of Hattiesburg, MS; Susan Cordova (Tony) of Elizabethtown, KY; Donna Ham (Danny) of Iuka, MS; and Renee Shull (John) of Glen, MS; 1 sister – Bessie Gore of Guntersville, AL; 28 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey T. Caston; and a great grandchild, Presley Nanette Miller.
