Mollie was born January 1861 in Tennessee.  She married William J. SHULTS on July 18, 1894 in Wise County, Texas.  William was born April 1855 in Missouri.
     They had no children of their own but adopted a daughter, Lucy Bailey.

1.   Lucy Ann (Bailey) was born October 29, 1892 at Chico, Wise County, Texas to Elizabeth Mae HOLLINSWORTH and Mack Franklin BAILEY.  Lucy died February 17, 1957 at her home north of Decatur, Texas and buriedin the Oak Lawn Cemetery
in Decatur.
     By 1900, Lucy became the adopted daughter of W. J. SHULTS and Molly TAYLOR , who had no children.  Lucy married Grover Cleveland McWHIRTER in December 1913.  They were blessed with one son.  However, Grover died just 3 months before the birth of their son.
     Lucy married John THOMAS in 1918.  John died in 1927.  After John's death, Lucy married Lewis M. ROBERTS January 7, 1930 in Montague County, Texas

Lucy and Grover's son:

1. Marvin was born May 26, 1915, died September 28, 1989 at Bowie, Texas

Things we were told:

• Marvin was living with Mollie and William

• Lucy was crippled

• Lucy and her son came to Oklahoma at one time, my sister, Johnnie saw them.
