E. as informant, says she was born 18 Sep 1882 in Ashland, Clay, AL.
She died of septecemia on 15 Dec 1939 at Birmingham. She is buried
in the Oakland Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
Matilda's parents are Owen
H. Taylor and Marie Clayton. Known
children are: Amanda, Mary J., Annie, Martha, Matilda, John D.,
and Rosa L.

Matilda married Christopher Columbus Wilson about 1900.
He was born about 1878 in Georgia. They had 3 surviving children,
Robert Edward L. born about 1906, Marvin W. born about 1908,
and Rose Lynnore born 2 Jul 1912 Birmingham, AL. Rose
died Jan 2004.
One of the brothers is believed to have been in the Navy
on the USS Solomon. Marvin married Amelia __ and
had Marvin W. born about 1928 and John E. born about 1929.
Matilda and their 2 of their 3 children,

AL census. Where were Christopher and Robert in 1930?
Christopher Columbus Wilson later moved to Johnson
City, TN and worked for the railroad. Barbara believes he was
in his 90s when he died.
Rose married Edwin Marshall Connell about
1936, unsure of the date. Rose had 2 daughters, Dorothy Lee
and Barbara Lynne. Edwin was born 30 Nov 1912 and died 6
Jun 1974.
