My Gr.Grandfather EDMUND SMERDON JORDAN born Aprox 1840 married JANE COX.
Edmund’s parents were JAMES JORDAN. (Baptised 1814) and ANN SMERDON Born 1816. Ann’s parents were THOMAS SMERDON AND SARA WELLINGTON. They married on 22nd of June 1813 and had 2 children Edmund Wellington Smerdon. Brn 1814 and Ann Smerdon Born 1816.. Most of the above happened in and around Black Torrington in Devonshire England
