WOOSTER -- George E. "Tom" Casey, 85, of Wooster, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville.
Friends may call Monday, Jan. 21, one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.

George was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Swords Creek, Va., to Ezra and Bertha Casey.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
George married Anna Belle Shelton.
George enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR, football, especially the Buckeyes. He was an avid sports fan.
George will be deeply missed by his children, Carl (Michelle) Casey of Wooster, Carol Wyand of Painesville, Mary Stanton of Phoenix, Ariz. and Alice (Bill) Bowers of Orrville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a brother, Edward (Sonia) Casey of Loudonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, AnnaBelle; children, George W. and Gary R. Casey; and brothers and sisters, Eula Chupp, Elena Helton, Viola Warner, Mary Ellen Jackson, Garnet Casey, Jim Casey, Evelyn Griffith and Cecil Casey.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the medical staff at Dunlap Memorial Hospital.
